Location:
Toronto Downtown Headquarters (candidates outside of the two areas will be considered but must be willing to move at own expense).

Who Are You?

You are a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in HR or as a business or Financial Analyst with an interest in growing, understanding, analyzing and developing our greatest investment (our people).

You will be a data driven and highly pro-active individual offering support to the HR team and wider business with analysis and people metrics to influence decision-making. You will have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products, with a specific focus on Excel, PowerPoint and Word. You have a keen interest in interpreting and summarizing data and have proven to have a solutions-oriented approach . You will have the ability to provide clear, concise relevant and accurate information for in formats suitable for the audience receiving the information.

The successful candidate is expected to be self-motivated (with a very supportive team!) and work autonomously, while aligning with overall business goals and objectives and sharing working towards shared goals. Effective communication and the ability to collaborate with team members across borders is essential. Being organized and demonstrating interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills will be key in your success.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an HRIS Analyst to join our dynamic and energetic Human Resources team. The main functions anticipated for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools; Perform system maintenance and production support activities in both North American HRIS systems (Ultipro and ADP)
Create, manipulate, maintain and analyze reports and dashboards for various internal clients, maintain file feeds for vendors and internal processes; Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
Synthesizes, maintains and/or integrates analysis of data or information to discover facts or develop knowledge or interpretations; modifies policies, procedures, or methodologies based on findings.
Monthly, quarterly and annual business metrics reporting in partnership with Finance and multiple external vendors
Assist with various HR initiatives as assigned including data transfers to and from various vendors for systems upgrade, integration and implementations; Timely uploads of file feeds for various vendors
Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures in order to ensure correct implementation
Performs work involving the application of broad principles of people management and leadership to solve new problems for which conventional solutions do not exist; requires sustained, intense concentration for accurate results
Serve as a key contact for the Learning Management System (LMS), 401(K) program, and the HRIS systems, among other programs
Use advanced calculation to formulate metrics, produce reports and develop recommendations; Develop and maintain end-user documentation and training for a variety of audiences as necessary
Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects.
This is a challenging, entrepreneurial position where the incumbent is expected to be self-motivated (with a very supportive team!) and work autonomously, while maintaining effective communication with the team and ensuring alignment with ‘big picture’ goals.
Education/Certifications
Bachelor’s degree
Finance or Economics degree with an interest/specialization in HR or related work experience
3 years of work experience with exposure to working with at least one HRIS
System Implementation experience
HR certification in either Canada is preferred
