This is a 12 month Project Hire position located at the GE Booth Treatment Plant.

Jacobs requires a staff member experienced in construction, administration and inspection to be responsible for project contraction inspection activities. Your role will depend on strength of the inspection team and the needs of each project site.
As a Junior Mechanical Site Inspector, you’ll have the chance to work as a consultant representative in the field, providing construction services for all types of electrical/mechanical/municipal/wastewater projects including facility upgrades and construction contracts. Working with other members of the team, you’ll coordinate and communicate with all parties on a project, including engineering design team, client project manager, and third parties such as regulatory bodies, testing agencies, contractors and laboratories.
During your time with us, you will ensure construction is in accordance with contract drawings and specifications, keep adequate records of construction activities, prepare reports, logs, photo records and, assist with change orders, payment certificates, as well as work with an engineering design team to coordinate correspondence such as shop drawing reviews, requests for information, site instructions, and assist in resolving design issues in the field. Under general supervision you will evaluate, select, and apply standard construction inspection and administration techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Minimum 1 years’ experience in site inspection.
Demonstrated experience on projects involving HVAC, piping and mechanical system as well as Building Automation Systems
Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge of construction practices and related regulatory and/or industry requirements and practices
Specializes in electrical/mechanical/municipal infrastructure construction inspections.
Demonstrates proactive decision making and insists upon high quality implementation of our design in the field.
Demonstrates strengths in respectful communication, problem solving, and a love for working with people and getting things done
