We’re looking for a Level II Dental Assistant to join our team to serve our patients and contribute to our work culture. This team member would be responsible for assisting dentists during procedures, taking x-rays, impressions and document recording.

Reporting to the Office Manager, you’ll develop a working partnership with our team and patients through your clinical expertise, professionalism and optimistic personality. We are looking for a reliable professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, interacting with our patients, and has a proven track record of success within the industry.

Core Responsibilities

  • Chair side assisting implant placements and advanced surgical procedures
  • Vast knowledge of computer and relevant software applications (experience working with ClearDent viewed as an asset)
  • Vast knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history
  • Assist dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested
  • Prepare tables and trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed
  • Take high quality digital radiographs
  • Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials
  • Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist
  • Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room
  • Contribute to office cleanliness

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications


  • Minimum 1-year experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Level II assisting diploma
  • HARP certified
  • Impeccable communication skills
  • A genuine passion and desire to serve patients and exceed their expectations
  • A proven track record of contributing to the success of a practice and office environment
  • surgical experience an asset
