Job Description

OVERVIEW

Support Energy Infrastructure Hedge Fund and Separate Account business.

KEY ACCOUNTIBILITIES

Assist with analytical and operations support (reconciliation, valuation)
Assist with audit / financial statement reporting and tax reporting
Assist with client service (marketing, reporting, investor inquiries)

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

High Net Worth & Institutional Clients
Prime Brokers / Fund Administrator
CIBC Specialists (Wealth, Trust, Client Service, Ops, Compliance, Legal)
Auditors

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES

As an employee of CIBC, the incumbent must comply with all applicable CIBC and Line of Business policies, standards, guidelines and controls

QUALIFICATIONS

Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree (degree in accounting preferred)
Prior work experience in Fund Administration, Client Service or Accounting preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills sufficient to complete work according to established schedule and timeframes
