The Search Specialist, Demand Generation is a Paid Search subject matter expert for Canada’s largest and most successful retailer, combining exceptional knowledge of Paid Search strategy, an inquisitive and analytical mindset and a passion for data driven marketing to accelerate the growth of Loblaw Digital businesses but most specifically, of the PC Express & Online Grocery products.
What you'll do
Build keyword lists and aggregate them by relevance & intent
Write compelling ad copy which is consistent with marketing messaging across all business units.
Work with multiple ad platforms such as Google Ads, SA360 & Bing Ads
Work within analytics & reporting platforms such as GA360, Omniture Analytics, Google Data Studio, etc.
Manage and optimize Shopping campaigns which includes monitoring product feeds.
Work with the team to develop audience segmentation strategies based not only on remarketing, but also on 1st & 3rd party data – for maximum relevancy & ideally to drive action
Create and implement testing opportunities to showcase value add of search marketing efforts to campaigns and to the overall business. Bonus if you can measure incrementality
Collaborate with Demand Generation team members to knowledge share and ensure the progress of our centre of excellence
Work cross functionally with marketing, creative and email teams on messaging and timing of campaign launches
Work with cross functional data analysts to develop reports and insights for key business stakeholders.
Present findings and make recommendations based on historical campaign performance.
Does this sound like you?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Business, Marketing)
1-2 years of experience in a Paid Search role
Knowledge of bid management tools including Search Ads 360
An analytical thinker with an ability to effectively turn reporting and analysis into actionable insights and execution plans.
Ability to develop a POV and implications based on data, and present findings to key stakeholders.
Collaborative and positive attitude with passion for questioning assumptions and answering questions with data, in order to unlock value for the enterprise.
Self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently.
Strong in Excel and reporting automation / experience using Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio or equivalent).
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Google Ads Certified
Possess a passion for the paid search ecosystem and a deep knowledge of its available tools, including auction insights & search trends
