Field Service Technician - Trainee

We're looking for a mechanicially inclined individual to join our Service team. As a Field Service Technician - Trainee, you will be providing superior customer service to Canon clients in the Brampton/Barrie service area by servicing and maintaining equipment in an efficient and timely manner.

Your Key Objectives

Installation, configure, repair and maintain Single-function / Multi-functional and company products and systems at customer sites
Performing equipment service on a required basis within specific time parameters
Responding to customer calls in a prompt and efficient manner
Completing preventative maintenance according to regular schedules
Maintaining all Company tools and materials, including an accurate inventory of parts
Communicating with the Supervisor regularly on all aspects of service
Completing service and equipment performance reports as required
Comply with established operational standards

What We're Looking For:
Graduate of a post-secondary technical/technologist course in electronics
Previous field service experience is an asset
Complete understanding of customer satisfaction
Excellent time management and communication skills
Proficient technical skills and aptitude, including electro-mechanical
Good computer skills and literacy
Thorough knowledge of and demonstrated ability to apply computer technology to customer requirements for networked products and systems solutions.
CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certification is required
Experience with network connectivity preferred
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - travel required
