Our IT Infrastructure Team is looking for an experienced Senior Network Administrator to join our growing organization for a full-time permanent position. In this role you will be responsible for designing, planning, and the security and operational management of Pollard Banknote’s enterprise data communications network.

What You’ll Do

  • Support and maintain core network services (LAN, WAN and cloud environments)
  • Isolate, resolve and document all operational and technical problems and performance bottlenecks
  • Develop and maintain network management procedures including the documentation for daily operational support (e.g. backups, logging, etc.)
  • Performs failure/root cause analysis during the problem resolution process
  • Build positive working relationships with customers and vendors
  • Respond effectively and professionally to customer support calls
  • Perform internal audits on work practices, establish and develop new procedures and documents as required
  • Participate in network technology evaluation and architecture planning processes as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma, with a technical major, such as Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 5+ years network support and administration experience
  • Experience in working with various network technologies such as: Palo Alto firewalls, CISCO IOS, Dell Switching, BGP, VPN, VMware Networking, etc
  • Experience in the planning, implementation and operational support of cloud computing technologies such as Amazon Web Services (VPC, EC2, Transit Gateways, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Config, etc. and relevant scripting skills using CloudFormation, etc.) and Office 365
  • Extensive practical experience in management of enterprise network infrastructures as well as monitoring/reporting systems such as Cacti and Nagios
