The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for effective management of the financial planning and analysis functions and to provide leadership and guidance to engage and motivate the team. This position works with the corporate team to facilitate the achievement of organizational objectives.

Development and training opportunities
Work with the corporate team and management teams of all Gateway Casino Ontario properties to establish and prepare financial forecasts, vet, build and perform financial and business analysis; prepare reporting for revenue, costs and EBITDA.
Support corporate financial initiatives and special projects.
Establish Forecasts and budgets complete to the P&L.
Make recommendations to improve process efficiencies to assist in achieving strategic initiatives.
Develop, coach and supervise the Financial Planning and Analysis team.
What You Bring
Min 5-year experience in accounting/analysis/budgeting.
Post-secondary diploma/degree in accounting/business administration.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Access, Word and Outlook.
Expert experience with financial modeling, forecasting and financial analysis.
Ability to build robust business plans and models.
Strong accounting/budgeting and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently, effectively and efficiently in a deadline oriented environment..
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
Ability to conduct and prepare professional presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
Strong knowledge of financial and marketing theories, practices, legislation and resources
Strong leadership skills to engage and motivate the team
Ability to work in a non-routine and confidential environment.
