We are presently looking for a Customer Account Representative to join our Sales and Marketing Department. The individual shall be an experienced sales professional that demonstrates leadership and accountability in achieving and exceeding sales targets, profitability objectives, market share goals and account penetration within an assigned territory/region. As part of a Regional Sales Unit, the individual demonstrates strong team player ability and can also work independently with little supervision. The Customer Account Representative will support the sales team by developing/executing business plans to achieve sales targets and cooperating with peers while building strong internal and external stakeholder partnerships.

Nous sommes présentement à la recherche d’un Représentant des comptes clients pour se joindre à notre Département des Ventes et Marketing. Le titulaire du poste doit être un professionnel expérimenté de la vente qui fait preuve de leadership et de responsabilité dans l’atteinte et le dépassement des objectifs de ventes, de profitabilité, de parts de marché et de pénétration de marché dans le territoire ou la région dont il est responsable. À titre de membre de l’unité régionale des ventes, la personne fait preuve d’une grande capacité à travailler en équipe ou de façon autonome, et ce, avec un minimum de supervision. Le représentant des comptes clients apportera son soutien à l’équipe des ventes en créant et en exécutant des plans d’affaires afin d’atteindre les objectifs de ventes et en collaborant avec ses collègues, tout en créant de solides partenariats avec des intervenants à l’interne et à l’externe.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
Achieve / exceed annual territory net sales targets for both Taro Pharmaceuticals and SUN Pharma business units
Service, promote/sell/secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a partnership based selling approach
Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory to defend current business and generate new business
Analyze the territory potential and determine value of existing and prospective customers and activities to the organization
Develop and execute strategic business plans for territory and top tier accounts
Prepare and execute quarterly business reviews with top tier accounts
Utilize all provided marketing materials, sales tools and systems to maximize business opportunities within the determined territory
Work to resolve customer issues and complaints
Keep abreast of market conditions, competitive activities, new product launches, business trends and provide feedback to internal sales & marketing team
Participate in trade shows and conventions as requested by management
Complete all administration in a timely manner
Occasional overnight travel (as required)

Solliciter, passer et confirmer des commandes auprès de clients actuels ou potentiels par l’entremise d’un processus de vente fondé sur le partenariat;
Créer et maintenir des relations d’affaires avec les clients actuels et les clients potentiels dans le territoire assigné afin de préserver les intérêts de l’entreprise et de générer de nouvelles occasions d’affaires;
Analyser le potentiel du territoire et déterminer la valeur des clients actuels, des clients potentiels ainsi que des activités pour l’entreprise;
Mettre en œuvre et exécuter les plans d’affaires stratégiques pour le territoire et pour les meilleurs comptes;
Préparer les analyses stratégiques trimestrielles pour les principaux comptes;
Utiliser tout le matériel promotionnel fourni, les outils de vente et les systèmes afin de maximiser les occasions d’affaires au sein du territoire déterminé;
Travailler à la résolution des problèmes et des plaintes des clients;
Se tenir à l’affût de l’état du marché, des activités des concurrents, des lancements de nouveaux produits, des tendances commerciales, et fournir des commentaires aux équipes internes de ventes et du marketing;
Participer à des salons commerciaux et à des congrès à la demande de la direction;
Exécuter les tâches administratives au moment opportun;
Passer occasionnellement la nuit en déplacement (au besoin).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

College/University degree in Science or Business
Minimum of 5 years retail sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, an asset
Ability to travel
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Prior generic pharmaceutical sales, an asset
Bilingual – written and oral (French/English)
This is a home based position with some travel required
Strong selling skills (commodity vs. medical detailing)
Negotiate effectively
Strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to adapt to changing environment quickly
Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
Strong time management, organizational and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities (e.g. innovative thinker)
Proficient computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Exceptional communications skills both verbally and written
