What’s it like working as a Senior User Researcher at Questrade?

The Senior User Researcher advocates for a user-centered approach to product development. You’ll work within the UX team to design and execute studies to better understand how people use financial products. From there, you’ll interpret data through the lens of a social scientist, communicate your results in a compelling way and integrate research into product designs and design practices.

Are YOU our next Senior User Researcher? You are if…

✔You have a degree in HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, Social Science or a related field

✔You have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a research role at a consumer-focused company

✔You have experience conducting interviews, field visits, and usability studies (e.g. UserZoom, UserTesting, etc.)

✔You have a robust understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, and know when and how to apply them during the product development process

✔You have experience conducting strategic research to inform product roadmaps

✔You have experience running workshops to socialize research and get stakeholder buy-in

✔You have experience with survey research (questionnaire design, sampling, analysis)

✔You have an in-depth understanding of user-centered design principles and tools

✔You can communicate complex analysis and results compellingly to a lay audience, and get that audience to action on the insights

✔You can coach designers and junior researchers in user research methods

✔You have built or helped advance research processes within an organization
