660 News Calgary has a rare opportunity for a weekend part-time traffic and sports anchor. We’re looking for a dynamic individual who will be responsible for presenting live traffic reports and up-to-date sportscasts.
Present superior traffic reports live on-air every 10 minutes on the 1's.
Thorough knowledge of the roads and highways in Calgary and surrounding areas
Update Twitter with the most up-to-date traffic information
Interact with listeners who call in with traffic tips
Update on-air sportscast every half hour
Any other duties as assigned by the News Director
Be available to cover other shifts when necessary
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar capacity
Graduate of a recognized college or university broadcast journalism program
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
A team player with a positive attitude
Schedule: Part time
