Straticom is looking for an intermediate designer to work alongside our principals and senior designers fulfilling the needs of our clients and continuing to grow the business. This individual would support the team on large projects and independently lead smaller projects. RESPONSIBILITIES:

help maintain strong client relationships

space planning and design concept development

furniture program

produce working drawing packages

correct and update all design documents

source and research furniture solutions

design and detail custom millwork

prepare concept elevations and renderings

design administration

SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS:

degree or diploma in interior design

demonstrated experience in design and technical production drawings

5-7 years corporate interiors experience

knowledge of Ontario Building Code

knowledge of sustainability and LEED guidelines

ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written

ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines

knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, and material application

knowledge of furniture, fixtures and equipment

proficiency in AutoCad 2017 is mandatory

proficiency in Sketchup, Revit, Shaderlight, Podium, 3Ds Max and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred

proficiency in MS Office, including Excel is mandatory

We are seeking highly motivated, creative individuals with strong communication, collaboration, presentation skills and a passion for customer service/client management.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
