POSITION: Service Sales Territory Manager
DIVISION: Stanley Access Technologies
LOCATION: Mississauga, ON-Home office
REPORTS TO: Operations
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing Stanley Access Technology customers. Estimate, sell upgrades/modifications and maintenance agreements to meet or exceed his/her sales budget. Designs, develops and implements plans, processes, systems and methodologies for improving customer service and increasing service revenue.
Create an environment which achieves ultimate customer service/satisfaction while meeting/exceeding regional targets.
Maximize revenue and deliver customer satisfaction
Visit new and existing customers
Meet or exceed region service goals including: incoming business, sale, expense /revenue ratio, service delivery, and margins.
A valid drivers license, without restrictions, is required
Interact and coordinate with the install side of the business as required i.e. the BM and IC
Participate in weekly rhythm calls
Establish relationships with the customers through regular scheduled visits and communication
Assess potential application of company products and offer solutions to meet customer need
Use technical knowledge of products to support and build sales on specification and conversion in conjunction with local sales team and provide technical job-site support as needed
Support local sales efforts from a technical level – including jobsite visits
Research and present reports showing potential customers revenue
Develop and maintain client records.
Support internal service operations through month end billing, and any administrative duties to support revenue generation.
Work with the BM and be able to provide updates on the Forecast daily/weekly.
Be familiar with the Forecast and how to build the forecast.
Be familiar with the monthly/quarterly budget goals.
Work with the BM to assure that the Forecast is updated and submitted weekly as required to corporate with the updated forecast.
Provide customer with Safety Policies when requested.
Any additional duties given to you as required by your branch.
Bachelors Degree in Business Management /Marking/Sales or related experience
Minimum 3 years technical/outside sales experience
Ability to meet sales quotas and increase customer base
Ability to increase maintenance revenue, vendor relationships and promote customer satisfaction
Ability to implement service sales marketing strategy
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple initiatives concurrently
Ability to effectively and efficiently self-manage and self-motivate
Creative problem solving abilities with a strong passion for driving process improvements and results
Efficient time management, prioritizing and team building skills
Excellent communication skills and able to grasp technical aspects of products or programs
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft programs-Excel, Word and Power point, SAP an asset)
Willingness to spend an average of 75% of the time, in the field calling on customers
