Account Manager/ Logistics Coordinator (full time)
Transport DCI-Express is a logistics company operating out of Laval, Quebec. We are currently looking for an account manager who will take on the role as office Manager. The Account Manager/ Logistics Coordinator will perform a number of administrative, clerical, managerial tasks while also maintaining client relationships and coordinating logistics of client shipments.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
-Inbound and Outbound calling
-Following up with clients on late payments
-Sending PODs and invoices to clients
-Negotiate rates with clients for both domestic and US shipments
-Dispatch drivers according to scheduled jobs
-Process and verify mileage for payroll on a bi-weekly basis
-Track and trace shipments while updating clients on ETAs and delays
-General filing and sorting
-Assisting with organizing and verifying expense receipts
-Working in a fast paced environment, must be able to multitask efficiently
-Must be FLUENTLY BILINGUAL (French & English)
-Must have previous experience working in an administrative setting
-Must have previous experience in dispatching or logistics industry
-Excellent communication skills
-Excellent Computer skills (experience with Microsoft Suite: Excell, Word, Powerpoint)
-Experience in Accounts receivables (asset)
-Experience tracking expenses (asset)
-Experience working in the logistics industry (asset)
-Dispatch experience (asset)
Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
Schedule: Full-Time (Monday - Friday), overtime if required.
