What is the opportunity?
As an RBC Ambassador inside our advice centres, you will put clients first and find solutions to their individual needs. You will champion the RBC brand and support business goals by responding to incoming client calls or by initiating outbound calls to existing clients. The Advice Centre role is full time and shift oriented. Our centres are located coast to coast in Moncton, Montreal, Mississauga, Winnipeg and Vancouver. What will you do?
Engage with RBC clients on the telephone or by email to deliver an outstanding service experience.
Focus on helping clients every day when they need us most, by responding empathetically to a variety of questions, assisting with a myriad of transactions and resolving issues at first contact.
Contribute to team results by supporting all colleagues to be successful in meeting client needs.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as one RBC team.
Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests while completing transactions.
What do you need to succeed?
Exceptional client service capability, driven by making each interaction exceptional
Confidence in engaging clients on the phone using a friendly, positive, professional tone
Passion to help clients meet their needs and solve their problems
Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.) with above average keyboarding skills, internet and computer navigation
Strong English oral and written communication skills; French fluency is required in some positions
Personal flexibility to work shifts that meet our clients needs
Past experience in a call centre
Past experience in a customer service role where you provided a variety of needs based solutions
Track record of teamwork in a target based performance environment
