Details: The Program Supervisor will oversee specific operational and service delivery components as related to the individuals and staff within the Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program. They ensure the delivery of quality services and that the overall care, safety and needs of the individuals are being met. The Program Supervisor will be responsible for 5-7 Shared Living homes which support individuals with physical and developmental disabilities, mental health disorders and some complex behaviours.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am—4:30pm; 40 hours per week. Flexibility is required as times may vary depending on the needs of the program and will include some evening and weekend hours.

In your role you will:

¨ Participate in administrative operations as a part of the SPD Management team

¨ Responsible for the overall case management including making regular home visits and providing supervision of Team Leaders

¨ In consultation with the Program Management Team, will assist overall program strategic goals and day to day management duties

¨ Attend all management meetings

¨ Attend regular supervisions with the Program Manager as per policy

¨ Provide on-call and frontline responsibilities as required

¨ Ensure that all case management meets Program requirements

As one of ideal candidates, you will possess:

¨ One year towards a diploma or two years towards a degree in a related Human Services field

¨ Five (5) years of directly related experience in Human Services, plus three (3) supervisory experience

¨ Equivalencies may be considered

¨ Police Information Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (from within the last 6 months)

¨ Standard First Aid—Level C CPR + AED

¨ Valid class 5 drivers license, current drivers abstract and auto insurance are required

¨ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

¨ Strong computer/word processing skills

¨ Exceptional leadership, organizational and time management skills

¨ Flexible schedule to ensure home visits occur as required

Rate of Pay: $28.56—$30.29 per hour; depending on education and experience
