COVID-19 has created even greater opportunities for us, and right now, we have an opportunity for an Inside Sales Specialist to join our growing team in Toronto. This role is key to the future success of Marsello as we have a growing number of customers that need our love.

As you will be the first point of contact for our customers and as such the face of Marsello, we’re looking for a passionate sales specialist who has strong retail experience. With initiative and an empathetic manner you will answer any questions that may be stopping customers from signing up and where necessary arrange & carry out online demonstrations with the goal of turning them into happy paying customers.

Although this will predominantly be an inbound sales role, there may be times when you are required to take an outbound approach and source your own leads via cold-selling.

We are looking for someone who ideally

  • Has strong B2B experience with a proven track record of achieving against quota. Experience selling POS or ecommerce solutions is a huge advantage.
  • Is proficient in the use of customer management tools ideally Intercom.io and HubSpot.
  • High level of technology appreciation ideally within the Marketing Automation/Cloud/SaaS arena.
  • Has an interest and intrigue of digital and/or marketing tools.
  • Loves helping customers become successful through empathy and understanding of their needs.
  • Has exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Is a great team player. Someone who can work closely with members of our sales and marketing team not only serving the interest of our customers but also helping to achieve the wider company goals.
  • Experience in cold-calling is a bonus but is not essential
  • Experience in running functional product demos preferred
