The Business Development team is going through an exciting growth phase and we're looking for a Sales Team Manager to join our team!
As a Sales Team Manager, you'll be responsible for training, coaching and managing a team of existing Business Development Representatives and will work closely with the Talent team on the hiring and development of the team long-term. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, hands-on individual looking to play a critical role in the scaling and success of our Sales team!
The kind of work you'll be doing:
Train, coach and manage BDRs in fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Work closely with leadership on the Business Development, Marketing and Operations teams to help better optimize our pipeline generation methods, improve prospect experience, uncover strategies to coach BDRs and create scalable ways to drive team success
Support BDRs in effective cold calling to successfully qualify leads
Manage day-to-day productivity and accountability of the team - motivate them through leadership and coaching
Set expectations with accurate forecasting, pipeline and metric reporting
Work closely with Talent team on recruitment efforts for future BDRs
Deliver training and onboarding to new BDRs
Assist in the development of an overall sales training program focused on client outcomes and solution selling
Provide leadership and professional development, including bi-weekly one-on-one meetings, weekly shadow sessions and routine co-selling when necessary
Create a successful sales process and structure, including a sales playbook, KPI assessment and engage in routine quality assurance to ensure process improvement is efficient
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
4+ years working in outbound sales in a SaaS selling environment
Minimum 2+ years of management or mentorship experience - you are excited about hiring and developing a high-performing team of BDRs
You are passionate about your team - their wins are your wins and you love to watch them succeed!
You have a track record of successfully driving and closing sales through outbound prospecting
You are consistently crushing your sales goals and hitting (or exceeding) company targets
You are highly experienced in CRM platforms such as Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in a start-up or scaling company is considered a huge asset!
