Our Total Rewards team plays an important role in supporting the attraction, engagement, and retention of key talent for the Firm. What you'll create and do
The Total Rewards team requires a Compensation Analyst who will support the organization by providing project management and professional compensation analyses for compensation programs, ensuring effective job and organization design. The incumbent will assist in developing, implementing and supporting processes and tools that align the PwC Experience with our compensation philosophy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manages the annual compensation survey cycle as an owner of the survey submission process and maintaining the relationship with various survey vendors
Provides in-depth and timely analysis on various compensation and recognition programs
Provides compensation-related recommendation throughout Line of Service (LoS) HC discussions on strategic business initiatives and organizational changes
Conducts job evaluations and provides market pricing analysis and salary recommendations
Partners with our global Workday Application Management Services and Human Capital IT to monitor and maintain core compensation configuration in Workday
Participates in year-end related compensation activities which include assisting with salary budget recommendations, preparing comprehensive market analysis and providing technical support to HC teams
Assists with maintenance of internal salary structures and firm's compliance with Ontario and Quebec Pay Equity plans
Develops, implements and supports appropriate solutions (processes and tools) with general guidance
Monitors Service Now internal ticketing system and handles complex compensation and recognition inquiries that have been redirected from HC Service Centre or other HC teams
Provides support for strategic initiatives and administration of PwC’s recognition programs
Provides day-to-day consultation and support to HC and their internal clients on implementation and interpretation of compensation policies, guidelines and processes
Facilitates the alignment of compensation and recognition programs and processes with HC policies and practices
Develops relationships with HC Business Partners to ensure appropriate solutions in support of business unit requirements
Provides continual assessment of both existing and potential processes to ensure quality service delivery and alignment with business needs
Maintains a thorough understanding of internal and external compensation design, practices and policies
Other team operational/administrative tasks and special project assistance as required

Strong knowledge of compensation practices and theory
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
Experience with Workday Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation an asset
Experience with data analytics/visualization software (e.g. Alteryx, PowerBI) an asset
Experience working with a point factor job evaluation method and knowledge in Ontario and Quebec Pay Equity an asset
Excellent analytical, problem solving and financial modelling skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy
Excellent interpersonal, communication and consulting skills
Ability to build relationships as a trusted partner with internal clients and external vendors
Strong project and time management skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative to resolve complex situations
Completion or progress toward CCP or CHRP designation preferred
