SGO Mining Inc. is a Saskatchewan-based gold producer, engaged in the production, exploration and development of gold mineral reserves and mineral resources. Seabee Gold Operation is located 125 kilometers northeast of La Ronge, SK. Our developing Santoy project is located approximately 14 kilometers east of the Seabee Mill and is a 1000 tpd operation.
This position is a fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert & La Ronge. The work schedule will be 14 days on site, 14 days off site; 12-hour workdays.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Equipment Maintenance Planner will manage the planning of scheduled servicing and maintenance of mobile surface and underground equipment ensuring compliance with all safety and statutory requirements. You will be working closely with maintenance supervisors to ensure the availability of the equipment and reduce associated costs. You will also utilize current maintenance planning procedures to generate planned maintenance and major component repair cost budgets.
The operation fleet consists of scoops / haul trucks / jumbo drills / loaders / dozers / graders / surface light vehicles and other related equipment regarding underground and surface operations.
Ability to plan, organize, & implement effective maintenance policies / procedures within the Maintenance Department.
Ensuring coordination between mine maintenance crews where necessary, and maintenance crews within operations.
Interpreting mid to long term plans and insuring these are translated to a day to day maintenance schedule to meet those plans.
Scheduling daily equipment preventative maintenance service and coordinating this with Maintenance Supervisors.
Monitoring and tracking of the equipment component oil analysis program.
Monitoring and tracking of major component changes, wear items, service hour variance, equipment utilization, and damages.
Daily upkeep of equipment repair and maintenance history records.
Monitoring and tracking equipment warranty considerations.
Ensuring all equipment has proper inspections, registrations, and additional requirements are satisfied as per Claude’s policies and government regulations.
Assisting in the development and implementation of strategies and tools used to resolve issues arising from the dynamics of an expanding equipment fleet.

The successful candidate will have minimum three (3) years of experience in a Planner's role.

Experience with Underground Mining equipment.
