About this Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Accountant with strong experience in accounts receivable and payable, bank and general ledger reconciliations, banking transfers and journal entries to record noncomplex programs. A proven track record in all aspects of accounting, and experience working within the financial services market both at the domestic and international level is a plus.

Sound like you? Here’s what you’ll need to demonstrate:
Organization/project responsibility

Responsible for the accounts receivable and payable of PCS and PPS
Perform banking transfers
Prepare and post journal entries for assigned general ledger and bank reconciliations
Prepare and post journal entries for noncomplex acquiring and issuing programs
Mastercard and Visa cost allocations
Prepare capital assets and depreciation schedules
Analyze and prepare interest income
Other tasks as assigned

Desired Skills:
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience; accounting degree and/or enrolled in the CPA program or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts
Intermediate to advanced level of Excel
Self starter with exceptional organizational, time management and communications skills
Ability to identify potential problems and recommend solutions
Comfortable with change, flexible and eager to take on various projects
