Come grow with us at CIMA+ Burlington. We are looking for a future leader to join our growing team and help us deliver municipal road and infrastructure projects to our established client base.

Responsibilities

Manage road and underground infrastructure projects for various municipal clients throughout Ontario
Manage the project contracts and lead the design of urban and rural construction & reconstruction projects, including: road & highways, watermains, storm and sanitary sewers, etc.
Lead the preparation of proposals and technical reports
Liaise with government and regulatory authorities to guide projects through the approvals processes
Review engineering documents and design prior to submitting to clients
Manage the budget and ensure that there is an adequate amount of staff on-hand to properly execute projects
Assure that client requirements are met as per contractual agreements
Coordinate and maintain existing business relationships and build new ones
Mentor and develop junior staff

Profile

A university degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
A minimum of 10 years progressive civil engineering experience in delivering planning and design services for municipal road and underground infrastructure projects in Ontario
PE license in Ontario
Experience in proposal and report writing
Ability to estimate fees, manage budgets and ensure schedules are met in the delivery of projects
Capable of managing and prioritizing several assignments at once to deliver on time.
Able to work independently and show initiative with minimal supervision while leading a team of design professional
Strong problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills
Excellent written, and verbal communication skills in English.
