Job Purpose

The Executive Assistant, Marketing and Merchandising primary responsibility is to offer administrative and organisational support to the Vice-President, Marketing and Merchandising in the management of his daily activities and for various business meetings, corporate events.

Assigned Responsabilities

Take care of the planning, organisation and logistics of meetings;
Prepare the agenda and minutes of meetings and coordinate the production of presentations for the meetings;
Book travel and make hotel arrangements for business trips;
Manage the calendars of the Vice-President, Marketing and Merchandising;
Answer in-coming calls, take messages and act as primary contact for general questions;
Conduct follow-ups with the members of the executive committee and with the team;
Ensure the management of the marketing budget and COOP program;
Participate in various mandates and special events.
All other related tasks.

Succes Factors

Technical knowledge: Your significant experience of a minimum of 3 years as an Executive Assistant has provided you the skills and knowledge necessary for your success in this role;
Computer knowledge: You master the advanced functions of the Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and have a very good grasp of current IT tools. Your notions in graphics will be a real asset to you;
Initiative: You show business savvy and are independent in your work. Curious by nature, you are up-to-date on best practices and every opportunity is a good one to put your creativity to the test;
Linguistic skill: You enjoy playing with words and language and are very creative when it comes to putting together oral or written messages for an audience, in both French and English;
Time management: You have remarkable organisational and planning skills, capable of coping with tight deadlines;
Rigour: You are professional, thorough and pay attention to details thus always ensuring the accuracy of the information you provide.
