Bilingual Accounts Receivable Representative

About us:

SinglePoint has been providing specialized call center services to North American businesses since 1998. We are launching an exciting new project in support of a financial services client in Toronto. This opportunity presents the right candidate with a unique opportunity to make their mark by building a team from the ground up.

The Bilingual Accounts Receivable/Customer Service Representative is a professional, responsible, and goal-orientated individual who handles both inbound and outbound calls with a high degree of customer focus and sensitivity.

Job Functions:

  • Handle customer calls regarding past due accounts and facilitate payment arrangements to bring accounts current
  • Handle each call with a high level of professionalism, courtesy and respect while ensuring the needs of the customer and business are satisfied
  • Successful and proactive sales and marketing of new products to existing customers
  • Resolving of customer account discrepancies
  • Document call activity details in Collections system to reflect action taken; Update customer account information with e.g. commitments to pay, amounts & dates, collection call updates
  • Compliance of strict guidelines regarding privacy and protection of consumer information
  • Complete other collection responsibilities, as assigned
  • Meet and exceed individual targets and performance expectations

We are looking for:

  • Both English and French language fluency (spoken and written)
  • Ability to communicate and respond to the needs of our French speaking customers
  • A committed individual who is willing to learn and grow within the business
  • Prior experience with customer service, accounts receivables
  • Ability to work flexible shifts is a must

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00/ hour + Monthly Bonus
