Reporting to the Replenishment Optimization Senior Manager, the Senior Supply Chain Analyst is responsible to work with the overall replenishment team to help optimize the flow of inventory to stores and Distribution Centres by providing analytical insight. The principal requirements of the Senior Supply Chain Analyst is to lead process improvement analyses, training on IPFR core processes and delivery of supply chain reports, based on the needs of the business.
Undertake process improvement efforts, focused on improving JDA engagement and Key Performance Indicators.
Drive continuous process improvement by leading and supporting projects centered on JDA engagement and other replenishment metrics, to optimize the flow of products from supplier to shelf.
Improve planning accuracy: Measure and track the accuracy of JDA inbound/outbound projections, identify areas for improvement and suggest improvement plans.
Develop comprehensive OSA reporting and Store Scorecards to measure key store metrics
Provide high quality training and coaching to new and existing supply chain users on JDA and SAP processes and replenishment reports. Create and maintain documentation to support the training and day to day activities of the replenishment team.
Provide support to the day-to-day replenishment operations.
Act as a Change Agent for all systems and processes used by replenishment teams. Promote engagement of new systems and process.
Conduct UAT testing when required.
Act as a point of contact for colleagues on replenishment system issues.
Act as a point of contact for reporting questions, issues and enhancements.
2-3 years experience in the retail/wholesale grocery business.
Knowledge of replenishment operations and concepts.
Proven analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to analyze operations and suggest improvements to existing procedures and practices in order to increase productivity and meet organization’s objectives.
Knowledge of SAP and JDA Demand and Fulfillment.
Strong computer skills. Highly proficient in MS Excel and Access.
Strong verbal and written communication skills along with organizational and time-management skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects/priorities and meet deadlines, under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Post-secondary education in business administration or engineering would be an asset.
