Our Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategist must have a solid understanding of marketing; digital media; and social media and how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. YOUR JOB IS TO OWN THE MARKETING FUNCTION AND DRIVE REVENUE TO OUR HOTELS !

Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing

Plan and execute ad campaigns with high ROI to increase hotel and restaurant revenue

Be the company webmaster to ensure that our websites are live, relevant revenue generators, with relevant content

Apply all SEM and SEO techniques required to maximize opportunity

Study google and facebook analytics (and any other available resource) , to track efficiency

Social Media

Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, messaging and audience identification

Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action

Take and edit original, relevant photos and videos for social media posts

Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content

Moderate all user-generated content for each community

Create scheduled posts (in scheduling software)

Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information

Collaborate with all departments of the company (marketing, sales) to manage reputation, and create relevant posts and offers

Manage company’s cyber reputation and respond to guest reviews when needed

Copywriting for websites when needed

Requirements

Proven working experience in social media marketing and digital media specialist

Excellent copywriting, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills

Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge

Knowledge of web design, SEO

Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels

Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability

Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 /year

Experience:

  • Hotel digital marketing strategy and execution: 3 years (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
