A. PROJECT DELIVERY AND INNOVATION

About Project Delivery and Innovation Office (PDIO): If you want to influence the priorities of your department from a Digital Government point of view, PDIO is the team that you want to join. PDIO delivers digital solutions that supports the Finance Canada’s mandate. We provide to the Department a mobile and dynamic workplace using new and innovative secure technologies and the latest mobile hardware devices. We establish the IM-IT Strategic direction while supporting the Enterprise Architecture for the Department that aligns with business requirements and the Government of Canada Digital Strategy.

B. IT SECURITY

About the IT Security Unit: This unit is a small but highly effective team that supports the ongoing delivery of the IT Security Program for the Department of Finance. The team’s focus is on streamlining internal processes, enhancing operations, and promoting continuous improvement and innovation to support the secure delivery of the Department’s mandate. You would be part of a high-delivery team at the forefront of new business solutions where your expertise in security risk assessment, knowledge of Government of Canada security standards and controls, and your ability to provide evidence-based advice to senior management will serve to strengthen IT security practices in the Department while safeguarding information assets.
