B. IT SECURITY
About the IT Security Unit:
This unit is a small but highly effective team that supports the ongoing delivery of the IT Security Program for the Department of Finance. The team’s focus is on streamlining internal processes, enhancing operations, and promoting continuous improvement and innovation to support the secure delivery of the Department’s mandate. You would be part of a high-delivery team at the forefront of new business solutions where your expertise in security risk assessment, knowledge of Government of Canada security standards and controls, and your ability to provide evidence-based advice to senior management will serve to strengthen IT security practices in the Department while safeguarding information assets.
