Adecco is currently recruiting to a full time permanent District Manager - Equipment Rental in Langley, BC. The District Manager - Equipment Rental has the responsibility to lead, direct, and motivate all branch, administrative, operating and sales associates within their assigned markets to achieve the highest safety standards, top line growth and operational excellence. The District Manager is responsible to execute on plans and strategies designed to meet and exceed customer needs and has full profit and loss responsibility for their branches and territory.

District Manager - Equipment Rental Responsibilities:
Maintains a safe working environment in the branch by following all health and safety guidelines.
Manage and coach the sales force in the development of the business planning allowing the district to achieve or exceed the budgeted sales numbers.
Direct responsibility for key customer accounts.
Hire, train, manage and coach the operations team.
Manage branch assets to ensure the organization will be the fastest to market.
Optimize profit margins through execution of plans and strategies.
Review monthly EBITDA reports and provide feedback to the senior leadership team.
Execute on plans to realize the strategic pricing targets.
Assist branch managers along with human resources with mentoring and documenting deficiencies with underperforming staff.
Ensure branch managers are completing the annual review process.
Ensure effective collaboration, teamwork, and communication throughout the district.
Four-year college degree from an accredited institution in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Sales Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Three to five years of sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment, a branch or plant leadership role, or comparable experience within the distribution industry.
Strong leadership, collaboration skills and the ability to influence.
Self-starter; self-motivated, operates with a sense of urgency; ability to work independently.
Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people with different personalities.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM systems, MSOffice and Navision.
