About the opportunity

ABCRC is seeking to fill a full-time permanent role of Digital Content and Brand Coordinator. The position will report to the Manager, Communications & Marketing and be primarily responsible for managing ABCRC’s digital and online marketing components as well as the overall coordination of our brands.

In this key role, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Function as an active member of the marketing team on developing and creating marketing and communications materials
  • Work closely with outside vendors such as an advertising agency, videographers, photographers and printers
  • Support the implementation of marketing and advertising campaigns, with particular attention to oversee and enforce graphics guidelines are adhered to on all marketing/advertising creative
  • Develop support collateral that adheres to our brand guidelines
  • Assist in brand management and development
  • Manage digital and social media marketing
  • Understand the nuances of the different social media platforms and be able to recommend appropriate posts and responses to inquiries using the brand voice as directed
  • Maintain corporate websites
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop and create new web pages to support marketing initiatives
  • Optimize website performance through google analytics and marketing automation tools
  • Develop Search Engine Optimization and AdWords strategies
  • Coordinate the Depot Marketplace for Depot’s to order online marketing materials
  • Coordinate promotional material and giveaway ordering
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of campaigns and website performance

The successful candidate will have

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) or Post-Secondary equivalent in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years working in a marketing or digital design position
  • Exceptional verbal, written and visual communication skills
  • Experience in conceptualizing, planning and executing creative campaigns and marketing collateral
  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver
  • Strong Project Management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
  • Must possess time management and organizational skills
  • Experience in managing projects and budgets
  • Strong creative skills with the ability to communicate ideas
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Able to work cross-functionally as a team in a diverse environment
  • Able to function effectively as a team player
