Job Duties

  • Keyholder, opening and closing when the Director of Food Services is not there
  • Provides excellent customer service to a large diverse customer base, including high volume time frames throughout the day
  • Maintain a professional visual presence in appropriate uniform attire as outlined in the Company Uniform Policy
  • Ensures areas are safe, clean and well-organized to meet all customer, client and Company needs
  • Ensures accessible services for our customers, and in workplaces for those who are differently abled in compliance with AODA
  • Adheres to all Brown’s Fine Food Services Inc. (Brown’s) Policies and Procedures
  • Manages procedures to ensure safe food storage, handling and preparation as outlined by Health and Safety Food regulations and procedures as set forth by the Company
  • Responsible for counting and maintaining cash floats for all shifts
  • May complete food, beverage and catering orders
  • Completes day end paperwork, as per company procedures
  • Maintains vending equipment, monitoring usage, restocking, reporting service issues, etc. as required if applicable to Location
  • Promotes communication; listens, responds to all concerns and encourages employees to forward suggestions for improved workplace procedures
  • Supports daily employee shift goals; provides new product information and training of new product use and communicates any operational information that would benefit awareness and productivity
  • Documents and records any disciplinary issues and reports all concerns to the Manager
  • Provides guidance, direction and assistance as necessary
  • Promotes the health and safety standards, policies and procedures developed by Brown’s
  • Ensures all employee incidents, accidents and workplace illness are reported to the Manager immediately; completes appropriate forms and provides the employee with the necessary paperwork if there is need for medical attention
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Shift Details

  • Monday to Wednesday / Evening Shifts / 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday / Day Shifts / 8:00 am to 6:00 PM
  • Shift schedules are subject to change


  • A minimum of three (3) years previous front-line food preparation and service experience;
  • A minimum one (1) year previous supervisory experience
  • Previous experience working with a unionized setting an asset
  • Ability to work independently and with a team, meet time targets, with strong organization skills
  • Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate
  • Current CPR, First Aid and WHMIS training
  • Successful Police Check will be required

Salary Range

  • $16 per hour

Job Type: Part-time
