Due to increased project needs, we are seeking two Junior Environmental Scientists based out of our Lethbridge, Alberta office.
Assist with field and office work related to assessment, restoration, and reclamation projects.
Assist and conduct field work in association with contractor management.
Assist with work plans and cost estimates.
Assist with soil classification, vegetation inventories, wetland assessments, and ecosite classification.
Compile and summarize field and laboratory data for senior consultant review.
Provide support for regulatory approvals and report writing.
Participate in field-based projects (primarily in Alberta).
Help to foster relationships with clients.
University degree(s) or diploma in environmental science or engineering.
Eligible for membership in a relevant professional association (e.g. AIA, ASPB, etc.).
A Master’s degree and agricultural background are considered assets; however, not required.
Relevant experience is considered an asset.
An enthusiastic and positive attitude, ability to multi-task, and a passion for consistently delivering outstanding work.
