Marine and Motorsports Service Writer
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in the same role or similar, in a fast-paced industry
- Knowledge of the Marine or Motorsport industry would be an asset
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Good organizational skills
- The ability to work under pressure and handle stress
- Leadership and customer service skills
Daily Tasks
- Delegating and directing service tasks - monitoring the progress of current service appointments
- Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships
- Managing service team members to ensure the team's tasks are complete
- Answering phones and calling customers back
- Providing customers with updates on their service
- Helping customers schedule appointments
- Collecting customers information / unit information
Job Summary
- Handling customer complaints or concerns
- Setting up and maintaining the service desk and evaluating its efficiency
- Writing repair orders
- Monitoring department issues and customer complaints
- Managing a team of Service Technicians and Advisors
- Logging the process of a repair
