As Western Canada continues to represent Goodfood's fastest growing market, the Company is looking to recruit a talented Senior Fulfillment Manager to join our team in Calgary, our Western Canadian hub.
Areas of Responsibility
Responsible to lead the Goodfood Fulfillment Team to ensure our industry leading customer experience and client centric culture continues to be at the forefront of what we do;
Develop, implement, improve and maintain efficient systems that ensure that all deliveries leave the production facility with correct information, correct delivery partner and on schedule;
Implement scalable processes, procedures and systems to drive operational effectiveness;
Foster a culture of continuous improvement related to operational efficiency, occupational health and safety as well as food safety;
Lead and develop training and onboarding programs;
Lead the team in FIFO fulfilment practices;
Collaborate with the Production, IT, HR and Member Happiness teams to improve the delivery experience and resolve fulfillment issues;
Develop and implement operating plans to meet fulfillment deadlines;
Organization of the fulfillment workspace to achieve maximum quality and productivity;
Tasks include but are not limited to the above as the role is in constant evolution.
The Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's or Master’s degree completed;
2-5 years of experience in operations management;
Proven experience in leading a high performing team;
Strong organization skills, priority management and attention to detail;
Full competence with Google Apps and Microsoft Office;
Strong communication skills, both oral and written;
Comfortable working in both unsupervised and supervised environments;
Ability to thrive in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment;
B2C E-commerce experience would be considered an asset;
Experience managing multiple delivery partners would be considered an asset;
Able to accommodate a flexible working schedule.
