We are currently seeking Line Cooks and to join our team. The successful candidate will be joining a winning team creating our signature Italian meals in a great environment. Best known for our food and our people, Sotto Sotto restaurants are looking for individuals with great attitudes, experience in foodservice and a commitment to impeccable food execution and presentation.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Passion for the kitchen and for producing a great product daily
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays
  • Customer service skills – able to exceed guest expectations with food preparation
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must work well within a restaurant team culture
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong initiative
  • A positive and team-oriented attitude
  • You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two or more years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking (Italian an asset)
  • Able to communicate effectively with managers and kitchen personnel
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
