Position Summary

We are currently looking to add a Sales Representativeto our team to assist with the forecasted growth of the newly merged businesses. The growth strategy includes fostering existing relationships, leveraging digital marketing as well as building new relationships through cold calling, which will be an integral responsibility for this position.

The Sales Representative position will also be responsible for creating strong relationships with our customers and communicating with graphics and inside sales teams on a regular basis. A regular day of work would look like half a day of fostering relationships and building new ones (cold calling) in the Capital city region and farther if needed; while the remainder of the workday will be following up with existing sales and prospects and working on marketing/support material, etc. The individual filling this role must have strong communication skills and be a self-starter. Working with teams and as an individual are equally as important. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience
  • Must be coherent in listening, speaking and writing in English
  • Must have a valid Alberta Class 5 Operator’s Licence and clean driver’s abstract
  • Familiarity with Mailchimp
  • Knowledge of promotional products
  • Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) programs
  • Knowledge of graphics is preferred, but not required

Salary is commensurate to experience and pay type is negotiable (base plus commission or commission only). Some benefits for this position include: vehicle provided, phone allowance, company health benefit plan.
