Master Packaging Inc. the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging located in Dieppe, New Brunswick is currently seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Demand and Capacity Planner.

The incumbent is responsible to manage the demand planning (forecasting) process as well as resource capacity load with the objective of optimizing inventory and service for both divisions. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a "take charge" attitude and will thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and detail.

Develop and maintain monthly consensus demand forecast for both corrugate and folding carton divisions.
Develop and maintain monthly Sales and Operations plan. Suggest alternate routings or utilize inventory build/curtailment recommendations in order to maintain established customer fill rates. Prepare material for monthly executive review of plan of sales and operations plan.
Monitor influx or orders daily and ensure plant capacity is not exceeded. Work with our customer service group to alter due dates as required; smooth capacity plan when required.
Set finished good inventory targets based on customer lead times and production routings.
As determined by the sales and ops plan, work with sales to identify items for inventory build. Then coordinate build with order management and logistics.
Maintain specialty items list and flag required actions to purchasing and scheduling as required.
Assist with development of annual budget volume and plant loading files.
Maintain performance metrics related to forecast tracking and accuracy as well production performance to plan.
Oversee aged inventory. Coordinate disposition activities.

Position requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business/Operations Management (or similar discipline) is preferred.
3-5 years' experience in Supply Chain (Logistics, Demand, Production, Customer Service)
Experience/knowledge in inventory management & change management
APICS: Professional Association for Supply Chain & Operations Management, considered an asset
Demonstrated time management, problem solving, analytical and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while delivering on-target result
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Excel
