Job Description & Summary

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Project delivery, as required by the scope of specific engagements, which might include the full gamut of IAM knowledge areas, solutions, and products.
Engagement management, including project planning, budget management, and resource management.
Business development activities throughout the entire opportunity lifecycle, including lead generation, opportunity tracking, pre-sales presentations, technical demos, client & engagement risk assessments, bid management, proposal writing, and contract management.
Practice development, including work on delivery methodology, training, and sales & marketing materials.
Personal professional development as an IAM subject-matter specialist, including continuous vendor and industry trainings, attending conferences, specific products & solutions self-study.
Multi-tasking on multiple projects and tasks with competing priorities in fast-paced environment.
Working with other Cybersecurity & Privacy teams on non-IAM projects as required.
Helping new and/or more junior team members to become an integral part of IAM team, Cybersecurity & Privacy Consulting practice, and PwC family.
Formal education in Technology or Business areas. Preferred education includes but is not limited to Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering and Management Information Systems (MIS)
Preference given to relevant certifications in Information Technology focused on Security, Infrastructure, and/or Software Development, including CISSP, PMP, COBIT, ITIL, Oracle Certified Professional, and CIPP.
3+ years in Information Security and/or Digital Service Delivery with discrete Identity requirements
1+ years in Identity and Access Management with at least 1 full-cycle IAM project
Extensive SME knowledge of at least one of the IAM products from a major vendor (i.e. SailPoint, Oracle, CyberArk, ForgeRock, Okta, IBM, CA)
Expertise in 2 or more IAM knowledge areas:
Identity Management (Provisioning, Enrolment, Certification, SOD)
Access Management – Authentication, Authorization, Role Based Access Control (RBAC)
Identity Governance – Attestation, Re-certification
Identity Federation, Single Sign-On (Desktop SSO, Web SSO, eSSO)
Privileged Access/User Management (PAM/PUM)
Directory Services (Meta-Directory, Virtual Directory, Unified Directory, Active Directory)
Identity as a Service (IDaaS), Cloud Identity
Identity Trust Frameworks
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.
Expertise in one or more of the following IAM Technologies:
LDAP, SAML, OAuth, etc.
Practical knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms (basic system administration, scripting, etc.)
Basic database management and SQL knowledge
Hands-on Java development
Hands-on web service development (SOAP XML and/or RESTful web services)
Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and technologies (Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, etc)
Exposure to sequence/state/component diagrams, conceptual, logical & physical architecture, data modeling, etc.
Knowledge of security design and privacy-by-design concepts
Client-facing role with a professional services firm or system integrator
Business development – participating in proposal writing, RFx responses
Engagement management – working in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines and shifting priorities, high tolerance to ambiguity
Project management experience
Understanding of PMLC and SDLC
Basics of scope/budget/schedule management
Outstanding presentation skills and experience presenting to executives and senior management
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
Working in a global geographically dispersed team
Core Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Collaboration tools (e.g. SharePoint), technologies and concepts (version control, check-in/check-out, review/approval workflows, etc.)
