You are an analytic thinker with a knack on capturing business insights and driving portfolio management activities.

In conjunction with the THPS Portfolio Director, you will lead the continuous improvement of Portfolio Management methodologies, standards, tools, and policies and act as a trusted advisor to build and maintain empowered partnerships with business and all partners to the market unit team to support the implementation of the new portfolio management function and foster a lean portfolio management environment. You will interact with a diverse range of internal stakeholders and facilitate the overall communication and interfaces with all areas affected by the program/project including cross-functional stakeholders and business sponsors.

Here's how

Facilitate and coordinate the efforts of senior leadership toward the establishment of the project portfolio definition, its structure and processes, from demand management and strategic alignment of projects and programs to portfolio categories and criteria, through evaluation, selection and prioritization; to execution, tracking and measuring the achieved results
Operationalize THPS CAPEX management and decision process
Engage, align, and collaborate with organizational functions and processes
Determine and implement cultural change management plan
Implement governance and supporting communication strategy
Support the CAPEX management process and the overall capital planning and forecasting
Oversee capital improvement projects
Conduct portfolio health reviews and identify opportunities to improve/generate increased performance, capture the risks and associated remediation strategies, define is critical and should be prioritized
Aggregate and oversee program performance scorecards on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis, highlight key accomplishments, key risks and provide recommendations for improvement
Ensure the adherence to the appropriate governance functions relating to the portfolio and in accordance with THPS’ guidelines, policies and practices
Direct the creation and maintenance of the required project portfolio documentation and artifacts

COMPETENCIES

Knowledge of portfolio management techniques
Financial literacy
Research/Analysis & Reporting: Strong research, mathematical and quantitative analysis skills to analyze market and financial data and make projections
Data Interpretation, Sense-making & Communication: Ability to synthesize complex data from multiple sources and create clear, informative reports
Relationship Management Skills: Build trust with key stakeholders and develop strong networks of expertise

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Five years+ experience in strategic portfolio management
Three to five years of diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities across major projects and programs
Understanding of Agile software development approaches
Experience with Digital Transformation
Demonstrated experience in managing "upward" among senior leadership.
Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) Certification or equivalent

Program Management Professional (PGMP) Certification
