Purpose: Canad Inns is currently seeking a dynamic, sales-oriented individual who thinks outside the box, provides high levels of customer service to clients and potential customers.
This individual will reach his or her revenue targets through solid prospecting, conversion of sales leads and on-going relationship building with existing customers.
Areas of Responsibility:
Follow up on potential sales leads
Demonstrate a high level of customers service towards guests and staff of Canad Inns
Be an ambassador for the hotel by promoting the facilities and services on a day to day basis
Oversee weekly contract meetings
Provide support for the team as needed
Communicate and coordinate client & guest requests trouble-shooting concerns
Prepare & coordinate marketing materials and items for guests, clients and other sales initiatives
Prepare guest proposals detailing function, banquet & event opportunities
Ensure accurate client information is accurate, EOF’s done in a timely matter
Ensure billing is completed and A/R is up to date.
Maintain current filing system and client data base
Achieve sales targets as outlined by Director of Sales and Marketing
Contribute new ideas, incentives and potential opportunities
Coordinate activities and departments to ensure successful events

Technical Service Skills… Demonstrate understanding of the technical service skills for assigned area (i.e. food & beverage service, housekeeping, etc.)
Point of Sale… Skilled in utilization of point of sale systems and/or other back-of the house systems.
Upselling… Know the available products and services and suggest alternatives.
