Reporting to the IT Project Manager, the successful candidate will work with a team of professionals to provide excellent Business Analysis expertise for the successful acquisition and implementation of an Enterprise Automated Scheduling solution with integration with the City's SAP ERP system. Through the carrying out of duties, the successful candidate will seek innovative solutions to problems, embrace change and make process improvement recommendations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct business requirements gathering and document functional requirements
Facilitate workshops with business clients to document current and future processes
Work with the City’s SAP team to document technical specifications
Assist in the development of Request for Proposals and conduct evaluation of responses
Work with the clients to develop test plans and participate in testing
Recommend process re-design to support business requirements and the Enterprise Automated Scheduling solutions
Conduct market research, and develop benchmarks and performance measures
Work with the IT and Business teams to deliver Enterprise Automated Scheduling solutions
Lead and facilitate workshops to gather business requirements and map existing business processes
Collect, prepare and document business processes/requirements and ensure quality design
Develop proof of concepts and conduct demos of SAP solutions to key stakeholders
Assess and identify the impact to business processes and policies and recommend SAP solutions to meet business requirements
Communicate and gain acceptance from key stakeholders on business process changes
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
Post-secondary degree/diploma in computer science or related discipline and a minimum of 3 years functional and business analysis experience
Experience with SAP ERP solutions including S4 HANA (Human Capital Management, Time and Payroll) is required
Experience in facilitation and documentation of business requirements, business processes, technical specifications and blueprinting SAP solutions is required;
Demonstrated experience with SAP ASAP or Activate Methodology is required
Experience with implementing Enterprise Automated Scheduling Solutions is preferred
SAP certification is preferred in one or more of the following modules: Human Capital Management and Payroll
CBAP, CAPM, CCBA, PMP or other business analysis/project management designation is preferred
Experience in SAP S/4 HANA would be an asset
Exceptional business analysis, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service and ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders and senior level management
Proven written and presentation skills to various audiences
Demonstrated organizational, analytical, research, decision-making and problem solving skills
Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 43.54 - $ 58.06
