We’re looking for a Manager Retail Services for our Walmart Media Group client onsite at Walmart in Mississauga, providing one key point of contact for the agency for our clients.
Lead the co-marketing planning process working closely with the Walmart client and Mars media strategy team to execute co-marketing calendar and/or build customized programs for the defined categories at Walmart.
Approach and support Walmart in managing partnership relationships with assigned vendors (brands that sell product at Walmart) or entertainment properties
Develop presentations and selling materials to approach assigned vendors.
Oversee the implementation of co-marketing programs including tracking vendor commitments, sales deadlines and providing kick off brief/documentation to ensure proper execution of programs
Demonstrate persuasive written and oral communication with clients, while building strong working relationships with clients and vendor partners.
Utilize advanced financial knowledge for tracking of co-marketing funding as well as of agency P&L components and understanding of how agency resource utilization impacts their team’s overall profit performance
Work with Analytics team to assist with development of detailed post-program analysis that includes ROI, key learnings and future program recommendations
Present projects to senior management that positively impact client dynamics
Manage and develop lower level team members including completing performance evaluations and reviews
SKILL SETS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of marketing or advertising experience, preferably agency experience in retailer and/or co-marketing promotions
Strategic thinking in the development of Shopper Marketing and/or Co-Marketing programs and management of day to day business
Extremely detail oriented
Sound decision-making skills based in agency, client, and industry knowledge
Passion about business and not satisfied with status quo – always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned client/business
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Power Point, Word and Excel
Ability to manage time, adhere to strict timelines and work well under pressure
