We are currently looking to add a Quality Coordinator to our Hard Rock Group at our Sudbury, Ontario location.

Job Overview
Partner with manufacturing operations and technical services to decrease lead times and cost while simultaneously increasing quality, customer satisfaction, and brand credibility;
Participate in the planning, development and implementation of quality initiatives in accordance with current operating procedures;
Initiate, recommend and manage process improvement changes with various departments;
Increase quality by building process and documentation control and standardization into product planning, development, and manufacturing; and
Responsible for all detailed inspections, when noted on the test plan and/or routing, to ensure that products are within specifications. Identify and record any product quality problems.
Required to maintain, monitor and control the Q.A. program at the Fielding Plant;
Responsible for the collaboration and coordination of all non-conformances to ensure that they are properly dispensed;
Supervise the work of Quality Inspectors, Incoming, In process & Final Testing;
Responsible for managing QA daily tasks: incoming inspection, in process audits, and final testing of the OE;
Responsible to provide training , direction and instruction to all QA personnel regarding quality, assembly mechanics/electrics or fabrication/machining specifications;
Responsible to ensure that non-routine situations are resolved through collaboration with appropriate individuals both internal and external;
Maintenance of the Q.A. program requires: Exchange of factual information, explanation and interpretation of information, problem solving and resolutions of situations with employees, management and external parties;
Maintain inspection tooling and instruments in compliance with ISO standards;
Responsible for internal audits with the collaboration of the QA / Doc Control; and
Responsible for policy formulation with respect to the Q.A. program.
Education / Qualification
2-3 years of Process Quality experience is required;
ISO9001 Internal Auditor Certification is preferred;
3 to 5 years minimum of manufacturing experience with fabrication, machining, heat treat and mechanical/electrical equipment assembly is required;
Must have good computer skills to file reports and maintain quality documentation control including MS Office; Excel, Word and SAP ERP system use;
Ability to review and understand drawings/blueprints and have familiarity with measuring systems;
Must be skilled in the use of basic inspection equipment including but not limited to outside and inside diameter micrometers, thread gauges, dial bore gauges, etc.; and
Good communication skills to work efficiently with internal production, management, sales personnel and customers/vendors as required.
