Key Responsibilities:
Provide financial stewardship and variance analysis for Refinery turnaround performance versus project plans
Assist Turnaround planners to setup cost object structures to accurately capture turnaround expense and capital spend
Ensure turnaround cost object structures also accurately categorized spend for bi-annual Solomon benchmark reporting
Provide daily reports for on-site contractor head count and estimated spend to the Turnaround Lead and Refinery General Manager
Assist in the development and deployment of the Solomon metric database; SA Profile
Collect and analyze monthly data inputted to SA Profile tables: utilization, personnel hours worked, and Maintenance and Turnaround expense
Prepare monthly Solomon metric analysis and communication to Refinery LT
Assist in the Solomon bi-annual benchmarking submission, with responsibility for Finance tables

Strong analytical skills- looking for creative ways to turn data into information.
Demonstrated power user - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and JDE
Accounting knowledge with an accounting designation or working toward a designation or equivalent experience preferred
Ability to turn extensive data into meaningful report summaries
Communication skills – oral and written, development of presentations
Interpersonal skills -ability to work in a team environment.
Familiarity with refining would be an asset but not mandatory
Organizational and prioritization skills
