Being a family owned business for over 50 years, Pumpcrete Corporation has established itself as a leader in the concrete pumping industry. With the addition of Modern Crane, Pumpcrete has expanded its services to provide expert manual material handling services.

As part of Pumpcrete Corporations growth, we are looking for invoicing clerk/payroll coordinator to join our team, based out of Concord. Previous experience in a unionized environment is a definite asset, but not required. Training will be provided on the job.

You will be responsible for, but will not be limited to, the following duties:

Billing Coordinator:

  • Managing all invoicing process. Invoicing customers on a daily basis.
  • Knowledge of POD's (Proof of Delivery) and BOL's (Bill of Lading)
  • Talking to drivers on a daily basis
  • Answer calls and transfer to appropriate internal persons.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Problem Solving
  • Maintains filing and maintenance of documents
  • Any other job function as required

Accounts Receivables:

  • Basic knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable procedures.
  • Daily phone calls/emails to customers for accounts receivables, making notes and keeping track
  • Clearing payments and entering checks in appropriate deposit books
  • Maintain AR spreadsheets
  • Collect on overdue accounts.
  • Provide copies of customer statements, invoices and credit notes to customers as required
  • Receive mail/separate checks
  • Any other job function as required

Driver payroll:

  • Attaching, preparing, checking and finalizing payroll for staff.
  • Any other job function as required

General Administration

  • Inputting data for DVIR’s, FLRA’s and other paperwork as assigned
  • Filing and keeping track of paperwork in an organized manner
  • Other tasks as assigned

Required Abilities, Skills and Knowledge

  • High School Diploma Required
  • University/College education from a recognized institute
  • 1+ year of experience doing billing and a/r is preferred, particularly for a unionized company
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - MUST be fluent in ENGLISH
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to respond to questions in tactful and professional manner
  • Ability to make basic numerical calculations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in use of computers and software - particularly Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Ceridian for payroll is a definite asset
  • Ability to interpret accounts and records
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and stay organized
