We are seeking a Senior Network System Administrator! You will handle a variety of projects to support and improve the organization's network systems.

Successful candidate would work from our London office opening in the next 45-60 days with remote work being an option. Successful candidate would be eligible to be a remote worker and work from an approved home office space. Remote workers may be required to come into London or Sarnia Offices for weekly meetings and or company projects.


  • Manage all aspects of the networking platform
  • Troubleshoot network & system issues
  • Monitor active network and server infrastructure
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Administer network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches
  • Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures
  • Document all technical procedures and user guides
  • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
  • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
  • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
  • Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company‚Äôs security team
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution


  • Previous experience as a network or systems administrator or technician
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and data protocols
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Proven hands-on network engineering experience
  • CCNP or higher (CCIE and CISSP highly valued)
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
  • Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
  • Expert in Windows Server and active directory infrastructures
  • University degree in Computer Science or a related subject

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
