The Information Systems and Technology Division is offering a summer employment opportunity as a Programmer Analyst 1 Intern to work in the Business and Systems Analysis stream.
As the Programmer Analyst 1 - Business and Systems Analysis stream, you will:
Participate as a member of a Business and System Analysis team.
Meet with subject matter experts to understand, document, and communicate users.
Gather requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing documentation, business processes and procedures.
Assist in preparing test plans, writing and executing test cases.
Possess strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Possess strong listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Your education and qualifications include:
Successful completion of at least 1 year of a recognized university/college program in Information Systems and Technology, or equivalent.
Strong knowledge in business and systems analysis.
Excellent analysis and design sense, along with methodical attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge in writing test plans, test cases, and test scripts is preferred.
Knowledge of manual functional software testing is preferred.
Conditions of employment:
A Police Information Check satisfactory to the employer will be required from the successful candidate, at their expense.
