CrowdDigital is looking for a motivated and experienced Growth Marketing Manager to join our growing team. CrowdDigital is an agile Growth Marketing agency based in Toronto. We’re a division of Crowdlinker, a 7-year-old, 25-person digital studio, serving large startups like Freshbooks, League, and TopHat, as well as enterprises like Unilever, Nestlé and DHX Media. Your responsibilities may include: SEO, copy-writing / blogging, landing page creation/optimization, Social Media Management, paid advertising on Google and/or Facebook, marketing automation, as well as direct outreach marketing via email and phone. You should already be strong in at least 50% of these and what you don’t know, you will learn from us. You should also be prepared to manage others and interact directly with clients.
You will be working directly with our clients to devise digital marketing strategies, research opportunities, implement best practices, measure results and iterate campaigns for growth
At least 1 year (ideally 3 years) of experience managing digital marketing campaigns.
Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
Experience with copy-writing and writing blog articles.
Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
Experience with Content Management Systems (CMSs) such as WordPress.
Experience using the Google Ads platform (Search, Display, Shopping, Video, Remarketing).
Excellent communication skills with an ability to clearly explain complex ideas verbally and in writing.
Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
Works well under pressure and can manage multiple tasks under time constraints.
Nice to Haves:
Google Ads and Analytics Certifications.
Facebook Ads Blueprint Certification.
Extensive experience with Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools and Google Search Console.
Strong knowledge of typography, colour and other design principles.
Proficient at Excel and have experience using complex formulas.
Strong experience working with Google Suite, Slack, Asana, Toggl & Jira.
Experience running Facebook Ad campaigns using the Facebook Ad Manager / Power Editor.
Hands-on experience with marketing automation software such as ActiveCampaign, Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot and/or Eloqua or basic alternatives such a Mailchimp Automation or Clickfunnels Etison Suite.
Hands-on experience with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Constant Contact or AWeber.
Understanding of Google Tag Manager.
The ability and desire to manage other digital marketers in the future.
Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
Create a strategy for content marketing campaigns, including determining what to write about, proofreading the copy of writers and also occasionally write articles if needed.
Create a strategy for email marketing campaigns, including writing email copy.
Create a strategy for phone marketing campaigns, including writing sales scripts.
Design, build and maintain a social media presence.
Keep large and complex projects organized, within scope, and on-time.
Create accurate reports of your performance for our clients.
Track, monitor and ensure that campaigns are delivering against all KPIs by reporting on campaign performance.
Communicate complex data in a simple language. Maintain strong presentation skills and be comfortable speaking in business meetings.
Execute conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies with UX design, landing page design, a/b testing, multivariate testing, marketing automation and email marketing with successful results.
Monitor industry changes and developments in digital marketing.
