Harbord Insurance is growing and is currently seeking an experienced finance professional to join its Finance team. The Intermediate Accountant reports to the Finance Manager and works closely with all staff.


  • Minimum 2 years related experience and completion of or working towards an accounting certificate or diploma.
  • Experience working with computerized accounting systems.
  • High proficiency with MS Office
  • Aptitude for multi-tasking and problem solving
  • Must have excellent communication skills

Job Description:

  • Reconciling various bank accounts, general ledger accounts and company statements
  • Resolving reconciliation discrepancies
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Assist in administration of Payroll and Benefits
  • Various reporting to internal and external parties.
  • Be backup for A/P and A/R.
  • Other duties as required.
