The Business Intelligence (BI) for TELUS Business drives our business market intelligence and advanced analytics capabilities. Our aim is to provide insightful internal and external data on our customers and business performance. We are also responsible for enabling, accelerating, and measuring marketing campaigns through customer data enrichment, marketing technology, and campaign automation.

As Senior Business Analyst, you will help design and drive our wireline KPI reporting process as part of our team’s effort to improve wireline data quality & timeliness of insights through delivering long term data engineering initiatives

Implement best-in-class, end-to-end reporting processes to drive operational efficiencies and improved decision-making
Working in conjunction with Sales, Finance, Marketing and others to design innovative data visualizations and analytical tools.
Mentor, assist in coaching and provide expert technical guidance to less experienced team members

Qualifications

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle

Experienced in Wireline & Wireless business data, RGU planning and month-end processes
Strong understanding of wireline value chain and business segmentation
Demonstrated ability to design and support end to end reporting solutions
Expert knowledge and understanding of global best practices in business intelligence, performance reporting and supporting tools such as SAS, Oracle, SQL, MSBI, SFDC Einstein, Tableau, Domo or like
Strong business acumen and financial / business case practices
Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with management and cross-functional teams
Able to effectively manage ambiguity and change while working on cross-functional projects and initiatives
Strong presentation, analytical and data interpretation skills
Fundamental understanding of data science techniques and its value to strategy
Expert ability to break down and decompose complex data sets and ambiguous problems
Knowledge of telecommunications business models, measures and metrics
Strong understanding of Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform and automated marketing tools
Naturally curious with a strong determination to work around obstacles
Ability to create and tell meaningful business stories from complex datasets
Takes ownership, initiative and is self-directed
Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or a related experience
5+ years of consulting or related predictive modeling/statistical experience
