You would be responsible for ensuring that all enterprise application releases (planned and unplanned) follow the release process and maintain a coordinated and effective change and Release Management service, by planning, coordinating, monitoring and correcting issues.
What you will do:
Create master change requests and communicate the release activities for the applications to which you are assigned.
Plan, communicate, coordinate, monitor and decide on the required corrective action that is needed, throughout all stages of the release.
Ensure test environments are built and ready for use at the agreed upon times and ensure test scripts and test data align with the requirements.
Create test execution plan and communicate daily test execution progress.
Plan and deliver all required UAT Training sessions.
Ensure that release scope activities are progressing, such that the various unscheduled items (defects and enhancements) are prioritized and scheduled into the proper release.
Liaise with various stakeholders during testing phases.
Who you are:
You have the following education and experience:
Related University degree with 2 years’ experience in a Change and Release Management role.
Understanding of the Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) and relationship to Change Management and Release Management.
Fundamental understanding on how on-shore and off-shore teams operate.
Basic knowledge and understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practice framework.
Exposure to and understanding of basic Project Management methodologies.
Your experience is complimented with your relationship and communications skills, such as:
You are an excellent communicator with both strong written and oral communication skills - able to communicate technical information to the understanding of a layperson.
You’re able to build and maintain effective working relationships – able to influence and persuade and are comfortable championing processes across multiple user groups.
You have strong organizational skills and are able to prioritize and effectively manage competing demands without any loss of quality or service.
Your analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
